Battlefield 6 is currently deep into development with an announcement set to take place in June 2021. We expect to see it arrive on the next-gen consoles, PS4 and Xbox One, as well as PC in late 2021, though no release date has been confirmed.

Speaking to investors, Andrew Wilson, CEO of EA, commented that the game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this year, being referred to as a game designed for the new generation due to the nature of the gameplay and what the new consoles allow to achieve in terms of visual fidelity, physics, artificial intelligence, and immersion.

Battlefield 6 reveal trailer likely to be shown in June

It looks like we finally have a solid date, or month at least, as to when we'll see Battlefield 6. The game's official Twitter account posted a teasing tweet that said: "Words that rhyme with Soon. June. Boom."

While we'll have to wait to see exactly what will be revealed in June, we're confident that a trailer will at least be shown, and possibly a release date. The drop would coincide with E3, which takes place on June 12 on June 15.

In the face of comments that reveal fan frustration, Andy McNamara, director of communications at EA, responded to messages with insults from fans and apologized for the delay.
