Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) is an online game developed by Valve Corporation and Hidden Path Entertainment, being a sequel to Counter-Strike: Source. It is the fourth main title of the franchise. It was released on August 21, 2012, for Windows and Mac OS X platforms on Steam, Xbox 360 (via Xbox Live Arcade), and a US-exclusive version for PlayStation 3 (via PlayStation Network). The Linux version was released in September 2014 (with support for the Ubuntu system as of version 12.05). The game features classic shooting content, such as reworked versions of classic maps, as well as new maps, characters, and game modes.

My thoughts:

Everybody heard of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and how hard it is to master it and the skill it takes to become one of the best in this game. This game was (still is) really popular. Professional teams are playing it. I think that the game is built for professionals. I played this game for more than 1000 hours, and it is disappointing to see such a good game go to waste. Ever since valve made this game free, it is impossible to play matchmaking at a high level without getting a cheater in the match. The servers for matchmaking are still 64 ticks, while on FaceIt is 128ticks, making a huge difference. Nowadays, all that valve does is launching the guns to make more money, but they don´t do much about the matchmaking problem. You can still enjoy some fun servers, like surfing. But I would not recommend it to play matchmaking.
