World of Warcraft is now available to play for free. The only requirements are an Internet connection (the game is entirely online) and a Battle.net account with Blizzard. The major restriction is that the free game only allows the player to progress to level 20; in order to progress further, you must pay.

Launched in 2009, League of Legends was born from the inspiration of a game mode available in Warcraft 3. There is also the Ragnarok M version, for cell phones.

The game's theme is strongly inspired by Norse mythology - Ragnarok, in the mythological context, would mark the end of the universe - and this also extends to the player's characters.
