FORMER DEVS OF RIOT GAMES JOIN TO CREATE A NEW STUDIO CALLED AMIHAN ENTERTAINMENT

05-07-2021

We are used to seeing several games being developed by ex-devs from Riot, who are always involved in very promising projects such as Palia, a new simulation MMO that recently received financial support of US$ 30 million in investments. There is another group of ex-devs from Riot Games who are also trying their new venture by establishing a new studio called Amihan Entertainment.

According to the information, the co-founder of Amihan Entertainment is Naomi McArthur, a former senior designer at Riot, who was responsible for revealing the news via Twitter, as well as explaining that she will be responsible for the design of the first title of the studio. The studio was co-founded by McArthur and Kenneth Liu, who will serve as CEO of the new company, and who has served as Revenue Leader at Riot. Among the members of the new studio, as well as one of the co-founders, we also have Paul Loy, former "Lead Technology" at Riot and who is now working as the studio's Chief Technology Officer.

Amihan is one of the first "venture capital"-backed game studios that aim to create uplifting and lasting games for all humans. New info about the studio should be revealed soon, but for now, the devs have just shared the concept art below.
