Review: OUTRIDERS

24-04-2021

About the game:

Outriders is a cooperative action role-playing third-person video game developed by People Can Fly and published by Square Enix's European subsidiary. It was released on April 1, 2021, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia.

Price:

You can find this game on Steam for 59,99€ or you can try the Demo version.

My thoughts:

Did you play the demo? Well, the full game is the demo with reskinned areas. You go to a location, there's 1 main quest and 2 or 3 side quests. The quests all look the same, open door - fight mobs - open another door - fight mobs and a captain - done. There's no originality in the fighting zones, they all look the same but with snow or dirt or lava or whatever.
The gameplay is fun for a while, then it gets dull... Unless you're playing the 4 classes, it will get very repetitive very fast. The shooting is OK, but nothing amazing.

The game looks good when it comes to graphics but I would advise you to stay away for now and try to buy it at discount.
