Review: PAYDAY 2

About the game:

PAYDAY 2 is a four-player co-op action FPS game that allows players to play as the original PAYDAY gang - Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains - as they head to Washington DC for an epic series of crimes.

My opinion:

The game is very good. It's 100% coop so if you want to play against other people look for another game as this one is very dependent on the group you are playing. There is the option to play with bots, but these are very limited. Try using the microphone, it's infinitely easier to coordinate actions. For those who have already played the first one, this one brings important improvements and the DLCs are bringing more content, renewing the experience a lot with each release. For a price of course. Perhaps this is one of the weakest points.

 Some of these DLCs look like they should have come from the factory, like the ability to throw grenades and so on. Another point that I believe is weak in the game is the lack of a realistic model. At the end of a non-silent match, it looks like you've annihilated every cop in the land who's gone to answer the call to rob a small jewelry store.

 Police officers who, contrary to what one would expect from groups like the swat-up, do not intelligently coordinate the attack or the absence of it in the case of many hostages in the place. So the shooting part gets a little too arcadey. Apart from these two points, I believe the game has many more strengths. Maps have significant random changes that change a lot each game. There is now a much wider range of weapons that can be customized to your playing style. The masks can now be customized, nothing changes in a practical way but it's nice to see what you can combine.
