The comeback of Titanfall 2

Titanfall 2 was released in October 2016 and thanks to Respawn Entertainment effort is one of the best games of its kind in its generation of consoles but has failed to achieve the success that Electronic Arts expected. 

However, thanks to the growing references to the Titanfall series in Apex Legends, the popular Battle Royale that remains among the most played games on Steam, has registered more than 214 thousand players in the last hours, Titanfall 2 is receiving a new dose of attention. 

The next Apex Legends Season will have major connections to Titanfall 2, starting with the new legend, whose story is related to the game, which sparked renewed interest in the game and a promotion helped make it even more popular. 

Presented on Steam in 2020, Titanfall registered a peak with more than 13.6 thousand players, which has now been beaten with the 75% discount on Steam, where it is available for only 7.49 euros in the Ultimate version. This allowed the game to join the list of most played games and reach a new peak of activity. 

At the time of writing, nearly 10,000 people are playing Titanfall 2, which has peaked at nearly 17,000 in the past few hours. This is a value higher than the maximum previously recorded at launch.

With these new activities, Respawn is increasing the visibility and popularity of the Titanfall property, which may help in the chances of receiving a new entry.
