Update: League of Legends on Netflix

Riot Games released on Monday, 03 of May 2021, a teaser of League of Legends: Arcane, an animated series from the LoL universe that will be distributed worldwide by Netflix and is scheduled to be released in the last quarter of 2021.

In this video, it is possible to observe some of the characters that will be present in the series, including Vi and Jinx, who will be the protagonists and will have their origins and disagreements unraveled during the plot. In addition, new champions should be introduced, such as one capable of sliding through walls and another who manipulates lightning and thunder, both of which have yet to be identified. 

The animation will also explore familiar scenarios for fans of the game, and the cities Piltover and Zaun, covered in the Legends of Runeterra card game, should be the central stage for all the action. As such, it is likely that there will be references to names like Viktor, Warwick, Caitlyn, and several others, which are closely related to the regions.
